Skin needling is a device which penetrates the epidermis (first layer of skin) and dermis (second layer of skin) to create microscopic channels within the skin. These “micro injuries” elicit the body’s natural wound healing process to repair and remodel the dermis, which in turn stimulates our collagen and elastic production as well as releasing out natural growth factors. Improved blood circulation to the area also leads to nutrient delivery and removal wastes.
Skin needling is used to effectively treat a range of skin conditions such as:
Improves fine lines and wrinkles through collagen induction
Minimises and refines pore size
Reduce the appearance of scars
Uneven skin texture
Increase the topical absorption of skin care
